Tek Talk began in August 2019 as a weekly after-work gathering, primarily attended by young professionals from diverse fields. It aims to enhance networking, foster connections, and allow for the sharing of experiences and discovery of diverse talents within the Lower Mainland. In each session, a guest speaker presents on the topic of their choice, which is then followed by lively discussions and conversations. Each Tek Talk lasts about 1.5 hours and is usually held on Wednesdays at 6 PM. Our guest speakers are our friends, community members and anyone who is willing to share their stories or topics of interest with others.
Although most of participants have been from the Farsi-speaking communities, we strongly believe in expanding our reach and building bridges with all our neighbours and friends in the city.
