This workshop is an opportunity for the Farsi-speaking community members to contribute to the Policing and Public Safety Modernization initiative. This consultation will inform the development of the legislation that responds to the diverse needs of all communities in BC.
Workshop Goals:
- Community Collaboration: Gather community input to enhance policing strategies.
- Lived Experiences: Share personal police interactions to inform a more inclusive approach to policing.
- Expertise Utilization: Leverage community knowledge to guide new policing laws.
Everyone's voice plays a crucial role in developing a more inclusive and effective policing approach. This initiative will contribute to creating a policing environment that resonates with and effectively serves all community members.
