Time and Location

Jun 19, 2025, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

West Vancouver Memorial Library, 1950 Marine Dr, West Vancouver, BC V7V 1J8, Canada

Throughout the history, there were several hubs of Persian Poetry, that left a huge impact on the course of Persian Language and Literature. The diversity and geographic spread of these hubs go beyond today’s border of Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan. In this session, we want to reflect on the poetry of some of those cities and regions, including those which were less discussed.

Coordinators: Dr Leila Raei - PhD in Persian Literature Dr Meysam Khataminia - PhD in Persian Literature Amir Bajehkian
