Description
Third Bridge Foundation is proud to be a partner in the Anti-Racism Legislation Consultation in the Farsi-speaking community of British Columbia and promoting the BC Demographic Survey. Our goal is to raise awareness about the process, what is at stake, engage Farsi-speaking people to take part, and relay the input from community members to the government. We do so through the following: - In person public consultation in North Shore and Tri-Cities - 2 Online public consultation events on Zoom - Informational posts on social media Additionally, our work is also focused on raising awareness about and encouraging the community to fill out the BC Demographic Survey. This project is due to conclude in October
About the event
📣Public Engagement: Help Shape BC Anti-Racism Legislation and Contribute to BC Demographic Survey ( Sessions in Farsi)
In the coming months, the government of British Columbia will be working on drafting the province's Anti-Racism Legislation.
